2.What system permissions the app requests

The current version requests only the network permission (Android's android.permission.INTERNET), reserved for possible future content updates. Apart from that, it requests no sensitive permissions such as camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo library or notifications. The clipboard and device identifiers are likewise never read.

3.Data stored on your device

• What is stored: which items you have studied and when you last studied, the per-question right/wrong records of end-of-lesson quizzes, and your interface language and learning preferences (such as the daily goal).
• Where it is stored: only on your device, inside the app's private storage. It is never uploaded to any server.
• How to delete it: uninstall the app, or use “Clear app data” in your system settings, and these records are deleted. The app offers no cloud sync, so deleted records cannot be recovered.
• Not used to identify you: these records describe “the learning activity on this device”; they contain nothing that points to your personal identity.

4.Microphone and audio

• The current version does not request the microphone permission and does not record or upload any audio: no audio-recording permission exists in the app's permission list.
• Listening and reading practice only plays audio: the practice screen plays learning audio bundled with the app; it never opens the microphone or captures your voice.
• Repeat-after-me recording and pronunciation scoring are outside the current version's feature set. If a future version adds them, we will update this policy before that version ships, and will not request the microphone permission before then.

5.Analytics, crashes and logs

• In-app event markers (used to tell apart apps for different target languages) are currently written only to device-local logs, for development troubleshooting, and are not uploaded.
• The current version integrates no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting service.
• If such services are added in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly, and the updated version will describe the scope of collection.

6.Third-party components and data sharing

• The app does not sell, rent or share any of your data with third parties (in fact, we have no such data to share).
• The app integrates no advertising, profiling or data-analytics SDKs.
• Interface rendering and audio playback use open-source components; inside the app these components only draw the interface and play the bundled audio, and they do not collect your data.
• The learning content and audio bundled with the app are produced by us (part of the Japanese audio is generated offline before release with the open-source speech synthesis engine VOICEVOX) and do not involve your personal information.

7.Minors

This app is not designed for children, and it does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal information and requires no account, children using it under a parent's guidance do not generate personal data as a result.

8.Changes to this policy and contact

If this policy changes, we will update this page at the same time as we release the new version, and we will update the effective date shown above. For material changes to data handling, we will give a prominent notice in the app.

This policy describes the actual behaviour of the current app version, not a promise about future versions. If the feature set changes, this page will be updated accordingly.
